First steps toward scaled agile in programme Mime

Over the past two weeks, programme Mime has held its innovation and demonstration arena (IDA) and planning conferences (PI Planning), our first steps toward a new, scaled agile reality.

Working closely with our customer, the Norwegian Armed Forces, we have demonstrated what we have produced over the last few months and received feedback on what delivered real value and what did not. We have also planned and prioritised the value we will deliver in the next increment. In six months we have experienced and put into practice continuous improvement on an entirely different scale and scope than before, and grown into an organisation with solid delivery.

Programme Mime means collaboration between the Armed Forces, the defence sector and industry, where together we ensure innovation, coherent and relevant solutions and rapid response to change, and through that increase the Armed Forces’ combat power.

I am incredibly proud of our teams, who have thrown themselves at the task and together taken the first steps toward a new reality where we deliver more value to the Armed Forces, faster!
